Councillor - Samarth Khanna
My name is Samarth. I live with my dad, mum and my brother. My mum is an early childhood
teacher and my dad is a police officer. My elder brother is aspiring to become an engineer and
is working hard for that.
We are from India and migrated to New Zealand in 2007.
I enjoy swimming
and love playing hockey because it is a really fun game and one has to use physical skills and
strategies to get past the opponents.
Watching TV in my spare time relaxed me especially after labouring
hard with my studies.I had planned to improve my English vocabulary in the year 2009.
I am working hard to achieve my goal and steadily achieving it.

and Kashish are my good friends. James and myself get on really well. Both of us share the same hobbies.
He is my next door neighbour. I am really grateful to him because he has been helping me in tuning up my kiwi accent.
I am a fun loving person and can adapt to changing environments easily. It gives me immense pleasure in helping others.
I like to be challenged mentally and enjoy solving puzzles.
I have always been good in both studies and sports.
I represented my school in swimming last year. Back in India I had represented by school and state and achieved
various positions at various levels.
