Room News

We have been exploring what makes New Zealand different and special.

We have written information reports about kiwi. A kiwi is the national bird of New Zealand. Kiwi have small pink ears and whiskers like a cat. Baby kiwi are born with feathers. Kiwi have nostrils at the end of their long beaks. Kiwi beaks grow until they are an adult. Kiwi wobble from side to side when they run. Kiwi are an amazing New Zealand national bird that we need to protect so they will be around for many years to come.

Friday was blackout day and everything was black. Everyone was wearing black and the whole school looked like the All Blacks.

The classes had lots and lots of decorations.

Some of the people had their faces painted and everyone was so black it looked like a black world.
