Room News

We have been learning about treasures. Treasures are things that are special. Pounamu is special to all New Zealanders. There are lots of different designs which mean different things. The twist means friendship. The koru twist represents new beginnings.

The manaia is a guardian who will protect you. We also looked at tuatara. They have been in New Zealand for almost 200 million years. They can live to a hundred and can hold their breath for one hour.
