Did you know that kumara probably came from Polynesia and was brought here to New Zealand by the early travellers?
Room 17 has a new student teacher called Mrs Mathlay. She has taught us so much about early New Zealand history. We love having Mrs Mathlay as she is such a fantastic teacher and is always lending us a helping hand.
