Room News

In and out, under and over with coloured paper to make a pattern on our piece of cardboard. Yes! We've been doing paper weaving. We chose many colours to use and we cut strips on our cardboard to create a pattern. Then we wove the pieces of paper over and under through the strips of cardboard.

At the end of our weaving we drew pictures of food and added their Maori names. We then cut out our pictures and names and glued them on top of our weaving. It looks like the food is on top of a placemat. Now we are weaving using coloured wool. Some of us have created some great patterns.
