Councillor - Navshina Moeen
My name is Navshina.
I'm 10 years old and I'm one of the school councillors at Manurewa Central School.
I live with my mum, dad, brother and my two sisters.
My dad is 45 years old and his favourite colour is red. My mum is nearly 34 years old. My mum is always in a great mood!
My big sister is 17 years old and she loves to play netball. My big brother is nearly 16 years old. My little sister is 8 years old and she loves to draw and colour in.
Some of my hobbies are reading, sports, bike riding and playing with friends.
Three of my goals for 2010:
- 1. Getting the 'Contribution to School Life' Cup and the 'Leadership' Cup
- 2. Getting good results in the end of year tests.
- 3. Getting the Saturday Hockey Cup
My best friends are Sweta, Alexus, Daeun, Zovrenty and Gracie. I met Sweta and Daeun in 2007 and I met Zovrenty in 2009. Last but not least I met Gracie at the start of the school year.
One of my past achievements is getting an honours certificate 3 years in a row.
Our school motto is "Effort brings reward". With great effort comes great reward.
