Councillor - Kanupriya Lalia
I'm an Indian. My age is 10 and I'm turning 11 on the 14 August. My hair colour is black. I have a big and wide forehead. Brown is the colour of my eyes. I've got a thick nose and a big mouth. In my family there is me, my brother, mum, dad, grandpa , grandma and my uncle. My brother and I both born in New Zealand. My dad drives a taxi and mum stays home to look after it. My grandma is in India and my grandpa is going to India in April. We have six people living in our house.
Swimming, singing, dancing and reading are my hobbies and are the things I do throughout the day. My friends at school are Faleola, Torina, Kiri, Alexus and Alora who used to be my best friend but she has now left our school. At my swimming club my friends are Joshua, Tiatitie, Mania, Sarah D, Sarah C, Dania, Katie, Brookie, Brooke, Reana, Choil and Whyrihe.
I don't have any pets but I used to have three rabbits which were really naughty because they used to come inside the house and chew on our wires and so dad had to fix them often. That was the reason that we gave them to my uncle's friend. They were really happy to see our rabbits. My favourite animals are dogs because they are helpful and very intelligent. I also like dogs because they're fast runners and they are cute.
I like to eat butter chicken, anything made out of chocolate, corned lamb, tuna, sausages. I like dressing up, wearing high heels and doing make up. I also like being a councillor, riding my bike and learning some interesting amazing cool things about maths and science. I just love science because it's hard but it's really fun to learn.
