Chotae Bachae
The word Chotae Bachae in the Indian language means "little children".
This group was started in 2001 by Mrs Teresa Wilson.
The main objective is to help the children experience Indian culture. The students love to decorate their
hands with Mehandi patterns, dress up and dance to the tune of Indian music.
The group performs for school assemblies and culture days. There are about 40 children ranging between the ages of
5 years to 11 years. These children practice Indian dances once a week during their lunch break.
This year the children are learning the snake dance and the Wandiah dance.
