Chotae Bachae

Our tutor for Chotae Bachae is Mrs Wilson.

Chotae Bachae is a cultural group that is open to children from Years 2 - 6. In this group we learn Indian dances and practice one a week in the auditorium.

the two main reasons Mrs Wilson says she bagan this group were:

To share her cultural heritage with students from all cultures and ethnic backgrounds within our school.
For people of other cultures to experience and enjoy Indian music, dance and culture.

It is a pleasure to see the different cultures learning together. This group has been going now for 11 years at our school. Each year the group gets bigger and bigger.

Mrs Wilson says she loves working with the students in Chotae Bachae and it gives her a real sense of pride to see so many children enjoy participating and being proud of where they come from.
